How we Ship our Cookies:

We provide two options for shipping cookie gifts*:

1) Flat Rate Shipping: This is the most economical option. Cookies are baked within 3 days of receipt of your order and shipped via UPS, FedEx or DHL ground service. The Cookie Gift Package will arrive at your door between 1 and 6 days, depending on the destination. Flat rate shipping is not available outside of the contiguous continental United States – express services must be utilized for shipments to AK and HI. This method is used for our gourmet cookie box cases and 6 and 12 cookie packs and is the only shipping method used for these products.

Flat fee shipping rates are separated into two zones -
Eastern Zone = $9.75 flat fee shipping per single package.
Western Zone = $10.75 flat fee shipping per single package.

Up to 4 tins may be sent in a single package.
Shipping for each additional gift tin past the 1st costs only $1.00 per tin.
Gift Baskets can only be shipped one per package.

When a gift is ordered for a specific holiday (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, or Christmas) the gift will be shipped out, under Flat Rate Shipping, to be received before the Holiday. The exceptions to this rule are:

1) When the gift is ordered earlier than 45 days before the holiday – the gift will be baked and shipped out the next available business day unless we receive an e-mail request, at customerservice@curiouscookie.com, to send it during said holiday week. This e-mail should be sent with or directly following the order.
2) When the gift is ordered late such that the order date is outside of the holiday cut-off dates View Flat Rate Shipping Holiday Cutoff Dates the gift will be baked and shipped on the next available business day.
3) Acts of God or Inclement weather prevents the delivery services from delivering the packages on time.
4) Gourmet Cookie Box cases and 6 and 12 packs are not part of the Holiday Gift classification.











2) Specific Date Delivery Option: This option allows our customers to pick specific days for delivery of their gifts. Use this option if you would like the gift to arrive on a specific or special day.

This option uses costlier shipping & processing methods and is reflected in the shipping & handling price.

Shipping rates for Specific Delivery Date orders will be displayed on the check out page, after your shipping information is entered.

Note that gourmet cookie box cases and 6 and 12 cookie packs cannot be ordered via this option.

Saturday delivery is available using the Specific Delivery Date Option only. The additional charge for Saturday delivery is $14 for express shipments and $1 for ground shipments. * 6 and 12 Cookie Packs are shipped via ground service. Neither specific date or expedited delivery options are available except to Hawaii and Alaska, with a shipping surcharge.

Note we are not responsible for incorrect addresses … we need all aspects of an address including the unit or apartment number, if applicable. In the event that an address correction is needed we reserve the right to pass on the $10 address correction fee, to the customer. We are charged this fee from the shipping services for address corrections.

 
Where we Deliver:

We deliver anywhere in the United States including Hawaii* & Alaska* within the FedEx, DHL and UPS shipping routes.

6 & 12 Cookie Packs as well as Cases of Gourmet Cookie Boxes are shipped via ground shipping.

Ground shipping will not be shipped outside of the Continental United States. We can ship to Alaska and Hawaii for an additional surcharge … please call 877-YUMMY-2-U for pricing.

* Available only with the Specific Date Delivery Option.

General Ordering Guidelines:
Orders placed before 12AM EST will be processed, baked & shipped within 3 business days except where the Specific Delivery Date Option has been selected.

Orders are shipped Monday through Saturday except holidays. Ground shipments are not shipped out on Saturdays.
Expedited & Specified Delivery Date Shipping Guidelines:

Curious Cookie would like to accommodate customers that need to specify exact delivery dates.

If you would like your Gourmet Cookie Gift order to arrive on a special day, our Specific Delivery Date Option allows you to select an arrival date up to 30 days from your order. Otherwise select the Flat Fee Shipping Option which is a less expensive shipping method.
